| Hot Rubberized Crack Sealing |
Crack sealing is your first defence in prolonging
the life of your asphalt. Proper crack sealing
prevents water from entering the base and
prevents future expensive replacement.

| THE PROCESS |
The crack must be thoroughly cleaned, dry and
free of all debris to ensure proper bonding and a
watertight seal. Once this is completed the crack is
filled to full depth using a commercial grade hot
rubberized product. The rubber is applied at 350
degrees and a bander is used to create a 3 inch
band across the top of the crack. Using this flexible
product is a must in our climate, it will remain
flexible, expanding and contracting during
freeze/thaw cycles. Dollar for dollar sealing cracks
is the most effective way to preserve you pavement.
